Winston churchill was a borne artist but he remained as amateur in this skill. Describing his painting hobby, he penned the book 'painting as a pastime' during 1948. He also wrote an autobiographical account about his young years - 'My early life' during 1930.

Churchill had admirable writing and conversational expertise. His broadcasts in the radio were motivational during the time of world war. During his early career, his election campaign reports were the first scholarly highlights.

Churchill's first and only Novel 'Savrola' was printed in 1900. Later he wrote the biography of his father, Lord Randolph Churchill. His another book of biography about the life of his great ancestor, the Duke of Marlborough became quite recognized. It ran into four volumes and was released between 1933 and 1938.

The Nobel award citation states that Churchill's award is "for his mastery of historical and biographical description as well as for brilliant oratory in defending exalted human values".

What ever area he worked, he excelled and his great oratory skills were observable both in his literary work as well as in his speech and influenced many across the continents. He was called the man of the twentieth century by historians.

Winston Churchill was well known for his wit and wisdom, for which he has spontaneous inclination and here you can see him in action in this example:
