Outsourcing pros and cons
Outsourcing was considered a lot in these days because of IT boon in recent years where a competitor takes up the talented human resources in cheap or comparatively low rates. Companies have been known to have used outsourcing in some way either other.
This outsourcing can be done directly by handling and organizing service sector or assigning company process to external agency for the benefit of quality service and innovative ideas at low costs.
The sole reason recently seen for outsourcing was to enable companies to generate better revenues while maintaining quality of products. This is absolutely based on the management skills but with not great burden.
The innovations and creativity are added results seen in outsourcing. Looking at the market, the outsourcing companies keep ready to satisfy their delegates with all aspects of quality like ready to take up by having good communication skills, competitively keeping low cost and quick delivery.
There are short comings also which the companies should be well aware of to maintain the standard of their actual companies. Absolute relying to outsourced companies making most of working inefficient within the system, giving up all ideas and showing markets of the companies which can be quite harmful economically and causing sudden low demand of the working force in outsourcing company or country.
On one hand it reduces the cash flow and optimization of resource utilization. Quick ideas, innovations and creativity emerge enabling company's management to focus on core competencies while not concerned in routine activities.
Delivery of speed and quality of product increases through outsourcing. Flexibility to change of business in quick time. Business risks can be shared. Investment on technology and infrastructure can be saved and left to outsourced responsibility.
On other hand there are many disadvantages and dwellings in outsourcing. Over relying on outsourcing sometimes looses the control over company's management and business process. Confidential information can be leaked and a threat to security. The communication gap between the companies may lack to ideal and desired performance.
The disadvantages can be renewal and misunderstanding the contracts. Companies with their circumstance can give undesired response related to time delivery, quality and poor response with slow issue resolutions. Lack of employment within the company and lack of interest can be generated though outsourcing.
The shortcoming can be avoided looking at the disadvantages, by selecting good companies. Advices and views of company workers and customer must be taken and the decision informed to everyone.
