When Raj's sister has an one-day layover he forbids the others from hooking up with her, unaware she and Leonard already did long ago. Howard and Raj try to find the perfect match for Sheldon by setting him up on an Internet dating site. Seeing her moronic new boyfriend interact with the gang makes it abundantly clear to Penny that she can't go back to dating stereotypical dumb jocks after dating Leonard. Leonard takes the container with him into the elevator, when Sheldon takes it from him, places in the middle of the elevator, shoves him out, and closes the doors. Three seconds later, the container explodes, thus destroying the elevator. Leonard goes back to the apartment with fresh-coated nails and the fight is over...until Leonard turns on Babylon 5, which Sheldon hates, leading to another loud argument as Penny listens with a bit of a smile.

The discovery of a prop ring from The Lord of the Rings movies puts a strain on the guys' friendship. An appearance in traffic court comes at the worst possible time for Sheldon-the same day Stan Lee is appearing at the comic book store. Barry Kripke pranks Sheldon during his spot on NPR, leaving him with a taste for vengeance. Wolowitz, pressured by Bernadette to define their relationship, gets advice from a fantasy version of Katee Sackhoff. The girls lead them to a tattoo parlor, and after the girl gets her tattoo done, she says its Howard's turn. He chickens out of getting a real tattoo, and the girls leave.

Sheldon and Howard wager comic books over a cricket's species. Meanwhile, a less-than-perfect romantic night agonizes Leonard and Penny. His mother is extremely upset by this. Sheldon quickly accepts Leonard's apology, and they return to California. Back at home, Penny and Leonard finally have sex. Leonard's happy that he's finally able to catch a break, but then in their post-coital discussion the two of them realize the awkwardness that follows when friends hook up. "Who's Radiohead?" Penny asks. Sheldon twitches and says he retains only the important information. They strike a business deal in which Penny can not make snide remarks or be sarcastic. The gang is thrilled when they see Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles' Summer Glau is also aboard their train to San Francisco for a scientific symposium. Meanwhile, Sheldon frets over having forgotten a paper he wants to present to George Smoot.

When Sheldon bans Penny from the apartment for numerous minor infractions, she decides to retaliate. Howard and Raj search for the America's Next Top Model house. Penny finally understands the metaphor, saying the cat's alive and that they should go. Meanwhile, Sheldon has been learning Mandarin Chinese with the assistance of a reluctant Howard. The rest of the gang fall for Sheldon's twin sister, and Leonard's plan to win her heart is derailed when Sheldon declares he'll be the one to decide who can date her. Thereby completing what Sheldon called an "un-unravel-able" lie. Later, once again, Sheldon feels that the lie needs "touching up" and so asks a lab assistant to pose as his drug-addicted cousin, Leo.

Penny makes Raj a "grasshopper", and he's quickly drunk and starts to talk to Penny even though he has a fear of talking to girls. Raj, realizing this, decides to have a grasshopper before his date with Lalita, so that he can talk to her with ease. The episode ends with Penny spiking Sheldon's diet virgin Cuba libre with alcohol, leading to a drunk Sheldon playing a song on the piano. With Wolowitz AWOL with one of her friends, Penny's recruited to fill in for him on the guys' Halo team. Penny hosts a Halloween party, putting Leonard, Sheldon, Wolowitz, and Koothrappali through a new test of their social skills. Leonard volunteers to sign for a package in an attempt to make a good impression on Penny, but when he enlists Sheldon for help, his attempt at chivalry goes terribly awry. Keep on watching it America, hopefully the main character in this show is forced to go to rehab consequently taking it off the air. A guy can dream can't he? Regardless, the series has moved on and so should I. The episode on it's own was fairly average, perhaps a bit lower than typical office standards but definitely not bad. I have to say Ferrel was great for the most part and he finally made me laugh hysterically with his invisible juggling scene.
